Stefan Baehr, engineer and diver since 1983, is specialised in underwater photos and wreck diving.
His photos in the German journal "Stern" - the first photos ever published of the wreck of the Wilhelm Gustloff, sunk in the Baltic Sea in 1945 - are among his most famous works. He is the best adress, when you are looking for photos of the wreck of the "German Titanic", the Wilhelm Gustloff. His book "Wracktauchen in der Ostsee" ("Wreck diving in the Baltic Sea"); ISBN 3-86132-162-9, was published by the German publishing-house Jahr Verlag. Since then, he has regularly published articles with photos in Germany´s most important journal for divers "tauchen" ("diving"). He generally dives in the northern cold seas although they often make it difficult for photographers to take good photos, as they have bad visibility and frequently bad weather conditions.
